![]() Michelle Taute is a writer and editor based in Cincinnati with more than a decade of experience. Before her days as a freelancer, she worked on the editorial teams of an eclectic list of national magazines. Those titles include I.D., The Artist's Magazine, Family Tree Magazine, Decorative Artist's Workbook, Popular Woodworking—and even a stint on a short-lived Bob Ross magazine. Michelle has a bachelor's degree from the University of Missouri's School of Journalism, as well as a B.A. in English. She has spent her life circling the Midwest but currently resides in a Cincinnati neighborhood called Northside with her cat Austin. When Michelle isn't sitting at her desk, trying to write, she likes to meditate, pretend she's flexible at pilates classes and spend time with friends. Her other interests include camping, hiking and backpacking, though she doesn't get out in the woods nearly as often as she'd like. Consumer Magazines: Better Homes and Gardens, USA Weekend, Woman's Day Specials, Homestyle, Natural Home, The Writer, The Artist's Magazine, Writer's Digest, Cincinnati Magazine, Popular Woodworking and others.
